New Timber Hybrid in Bahrenfeld!
The Timber Office in the district of Bahrenfeld in Hamburg is the first CREE project that features the CREE System flat slab panels (FSP).
We build on timber hybrid.
More and more people have the desire to make their lives more sustainable. Above all, this includes the responsible use of resources. And it is precisely this responsibility that we want to live up to when we build the forward-looking Timber Office by 2022 – creating the place where we ourselves always wanted to work. The innovative timber hybrid construction method, which primarily combines wood with other building materials, is the decisive factor here.
- Around 1,200 metric tons of weight saved through hybrid design
- Storage of approx. 467 tons of CO2 through the use of wood
- Low energy consumption through low-tech strategy
- Integrated mobility concept for sustainable commuting
- Generous greening as a contribution for a greener world
The Timber Office is a tribute to the Industrial Revolution and at the same time true pioneering work. We are rethinking buildings – and with the innovative timber hybrid construction method, we are creating an office building that is unique in Hamburg. The original ceramic façade, generous open spaces and lots of glass and greenery also make the Timber Office a place that always welcomes visitors.
- Five recreational areas included – Five terraces form an architectural landscape that invites you to breathe, think, meet and even garden.
- Sustainability wears herringbone pattern – The facade, which is both striking and discreet, was designed in such a way that all components can be recycled – completely without loss.
- Environmentally conscious commuters preferred – Our best parking spaces belong to cyclists. And in addition, there will be 11 parking spaces with e-charging stations.
- Big ideas need big space – So that everyone can really unfold, we offer space for up to 250 workstations on 3,496m2. And all this with an airy 300 cm ceiling height.
- Only the load-bearing walls are set – The rooms and floors at Timber Office are designed for maximum flexibility to meet the needs and requirements of our tenants. Because who doesn’t have them?
- Shower on arrival – Internationally, the shower is standard equipment in the office. And rightly so. After all, anyone who exhausts themselves on the way to work should be able to get back to work fresh.
- Space for everything except barriers – Wide doors, large areas and two spacious elevators allow barrier-free access to the workplace – and thus full concentration on what is really important.
Work where others would like to live.
Among all the fascinating details in the Timber Office, one will catch everyone’s eye: the elegant spruce ceiling, which, combined with the natural sunlight, creates an extraordinary flair throughout. Nevertheless, each floor has an independent, very flexible structure with individual character. So we can always talk about room layout, floor coverings or even the furnishing of the kitchenette.
The Location
The Timber Office is being built where Bahrenfeld meets Ottensen – two districts that are among Hamburg’s most desirable areas. Numerous shopping, sports and leisure opportunities ensure an enormously high quality of life here. And in combination with the Timber Office, for a perfect work-life balance. Even the transport links leave nothing to be desired: S-Bahn, Metrobus and A7 are just around the corner – and the airport can also be reached in no time by S-Bahn.
